Baltic Yard Reaches Lease Up Milestone
Baltic Yard, Brickland’s 200 unit Liverpool BTR project delivered in conjunction with US Investor Heitman has reached full occupancy. The scheme which was build complete in July 2021 achieved the letting milestone in early April 2022, thus meaning full lease up was achieved in an impressive 9 month period. Demolition Underway at Laurel Works
Demolition and enabling works have commenced at Brickland’s forthcoming BTR scheme Laurel Works located at Wicker Island on the banks of the River Don in Sheffield. Local contractors G Morley have begun dismantling existing buildings on site, in readiness for the next phase of enabling works which will include some archaeological monitoring followed by preparation of the piling mat. Main building works will commence in mid-summer with the 268 unit scheme scheduled to complete in early Autumn 2023.

Baltic Yard Nears Completion
Being delivered in partnership with US Real Estate Fund, Heitman. The handover countdown has commenced on Brickland’s 200-unit development in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. Despite the many challenges caused by the pandemic the building is on track to handover in April 2021 with the impressive show apartments now available to view. Lease-up so far has been extremely successful, giving confidence of a positive recovery on the other side of the pandemic.

Plans lodged for residential scheme overlooking River Don
Detailed proposals for a residential build to rent scheme at Sheffield's Wicker Island have been submitted. The proposed development, designed by Whittam Cox Architects on behalf of developers Brickland, will comprise three interconnected blocks that will incorporate 268 apartments with commercial space, parking and residents amenity fronting onto the River Don.

Liverpool developer Brickland has secured a deal with global investor Heitman to develop build-to-rent sites in Manchester and Liverpool, with contractor ISG understood to be ready to start on site within weeks on both projects.
